We are looking for a highly motivated and detail orientated administrative professional to join our team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you have an important role as the first point of contact for the public with the Edson office. As an essential member of the North Central Team, you will provide administrative support in the areas of general administration, standard operating procedures, financial duties, contract/service agreement administration, human resource administration, facilities and equipment management, records management, information technology, issues management, strategic business planning and special projects/committee representation.
As an Administrative professional, you will require an ability to provide excellent customer service, manage Action Requests, and process accounts for payment. Combined, your effective communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, excellent interpersonal abilities and commitment to service excellence allow you to complete these duties, and liaise with members of the public, stakeholders, and other department employees.

High School Diploma supplemented by a minimum of two years of related administrative experience is required. An Office Administration and/or Secretarial Certificate is considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience. Prior experience working with government systems, policies and guidelines is an asset. Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel is preferred.
$1,613.88 to $1,971.87 bi-weekly ($42,122 to $51,466 annually)
Candidates with lesser experience may be considered at a lower classification and salary level. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies.
