As an Operations Supervisor reporting to the Facilities Manager at the Edmonton Law Courts, you will coordinate and monitor the daily activities of our in-house staff and contracted services for Property Management. Acting as a liaison between clients, staff, and contractors you will effectively facilitate and ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the facilities. Through addressing these requirements you will meet our clients' program needs, ensuring they have a comfortable, safe, and efficient working environment.
Within this role, you will also ensure staff and financial resources are utilized appropriately through budget monitoring and authorization of expenditures. Your excellent computer skills will benefit you as you learn new applications and systems specifically required to operate the facilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to provide exceptional service to the sensitive environment of the Edmonton Law Courts. Strong negotiation skills and ability to assess clients' needs will contribute to your success in this role.
A two-year technical diploma in a related field plus a minimum of 4 years related experience in the operation and maintenance of facilities including, building systems, contracts and property administration. Related supervisory experience is considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.
$2,310.36 to $3,042.92 bi-weekly ($60,300 to $79,420 annually)
