The Workplace Policy, Legislation and Program Development , Executive Director's office is seeking an individual that is motivated, organized, and meticulous to provide senior administrative support to the Executive Director. In this position you will be responsible for all administrative matters including; preparing and reviewing correspondence, formatting briefing materials, budget monitoring and forecasting, financial reporting and disclosures, scheduling and preparing for meetings, records management and daily support services to the Senior Management Team. The successful candidate also requires the ability to work independently and proactively in managing correspondence, managing projects and executing tasks; and has contact and working relationships with stakeholders, senior officials, and administrators within the division of Safe, Fair & Healthy Workplaces. Knowledge of labour and workplace issues, programs and policies is an asset.
In this fast-paced environment, you will require excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as superior knowledge of office systems and procedures. You possess strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor, and are able to work cooperatively and independently within a team environment. This excellent opportunity is for you if you take responsibility for specific assigned tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines while producing quality work. Excellent attention to detail is essential. A working knowledge of the FOIP Act is required to respond to specific inquiries is desirable.
High School Diploma supplemented by minimum three years of related experience. A relevant certificate or Diploma is preferred. Strong writing and editing skills are essential. Experience with ARTS, budget and forecast management, expense claims, and records management is required. Advanced user level of Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,724.26 to $2,111.09 bi-weekly
