We've got the data, now you create the final product! Alberta Infrastructure, Human Resources is looking for someone to research, collect and analyze HR data and present it in a meaningful manner that will be beneficial for our Branch and Department.
Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development, you will be accountable to perform data analysis and reporting on HR metrics, as well as maintain reporting and data integrity within our HRIS (IMAGIS). From this data, analysis will be performed to forecast and improve Human Resource functions and programs across the Ministry of Infrastructure. The successful applicant will need detailed analytical skills in order to perform these tasks. This highly organized individual will also be responsible for researching and identifying best practices, standards and policies to enhance current and new programs. The HR Analyst will also be responsible updating and maintaining tabs on the Infrastructure Human Resources intranet share point site.
To assist you in these responsibilities, a thorough knowledge of HR best practices, policies and procedures is needed. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, IMAGIS and other HRIS software will aide you greatly in the generation of the standardized reporting required of the position. Knowledge and experience in research and analysis methodologies will help to effectively create information with the data collected. In order to share this information effectively with the end users, strong communication skills will be necessary to successfully utilize the information in the most productive manner.
Related Degree with a Business major is preferred. Two years experience with HR related research, statistical analysis and HR Metrics required. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, at a high level particularly Excel, Visio Word and Outlook required. Experience using HRIS systems will be considered an asset. Equivalencies may be considered. Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level.
Bi-weekly: $2,420.05 to $3,319.88 (Annual: $63,163 to $86,648)
