Alberta Infrastructure in Calgary and Medicine Hat has a vacancy in each of these locations to help to ensure necessary and safe infrastructure for Albertans by putting into operation your effective property and lease management skills.
In the role of Operations Supervisor, reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be required to use your strong organizing abilities to provide contract administration of total outsourced activities, which includes delivery of maintenance projects and tenant improvement projects. As the primary point of contact for client ministry needs, you will be providing guidance and support to building operation staff. You will have a key role in planning and developing contract specifications, administering contracts and agreements and monitoring associated deliverables for compliance and quality assurance. You will be working closely with clients, contractors, landlords, Ministry representatives and the public to ensure the assigned portfolio is operated and maintained in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to provide superior service to our clients and stakeholders and resolve any lease compliance, operational and technical issues. Your strong negotiation skills and ability to assess client's needs will contribute to your success in this role.
A two-year technical diploma in a related field plus considerable years' related experience in the operation and maintenance of facilities including; building operations, lease and property as well as budget administration. Related supervisory experience is considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered, such as; a related degree from a recognized university or additional years of related experience.
$2,265.06 to $2,983.25 bi-weekly ($59,118 to $77,862 per annum)
