If you possess excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, have exceptional knowledge of case management competencies and strong decision-making abilities, you will be interested in this position!
In this role you will play an active part in offender rehabilitation and community safety. You will ensure compliance of offenders with supervision orders issued by the courts. You will also counsel clients, compile pre-sentence investigative reports for the Criminal Justice System, and maintain current documentation on clients who participate in a variety of innovative programs such as Fine Option and Community Service Orders. Exceptional time management and writing skills combined with strong decision making ability will be critical factors contributing to your success in this position.
Directly related university degree/diploma preferred, other degrees/diplomas will be considered. Preference will be given to those with recent Probation Officer experience and/or related casework/case management experience.
$2,093.87 - $2,947.39 Bi Weekly
Final candidates will be asked to complete a security screening. This competition may be used to fill current and future vacancies across the Government of Alberta.
