The Alternative Procurement Team within the Learning Facilities and Alternative Procurement Branch / Capital Projects Division of Alberta Infrastructure is responsible for delivering school facility infrastructure projects. The team plays a fundamental role in providing increased access to quality education and improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of school facilities.
If you are interested in showcasing your skills and expertise and gaining valuable experience in the design and implementation of school capital projects, this is your opportunity. As a Project Manager you will use your knowledge of facility design and construction, as well as your expert project management skills to lead project teams; establish project scope and parameters to meet client needs; establish and maintain project budgets and schedules; and manage the design, tender and construction processes for assigned projects. Your proven management skills, client focus, leadership skills, and team management abilities will ensure you are successful in meeting the demands of this exciting position. Your excellent interpersonal skills, as well as your professional expertise, will support your ongoing liaison with clients and industry stakeholders.

University degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with more than 3 years project management experience is required. Certification as a Project Manager or Construction Administrator will be considered an asset. Experience relating to the design, construction and commissioning of capital projects as well as school facilities is strongly preferred. Equivalencies will be considered. A valid driver's license is required.
$2,936.39 to $3,951.53 bi-weekly ($76,639 to $103,134 annually).
