Within Workforce Strategies, the Labour Attraction and Retention Branch develops and implements targeted strategies for attracting and retaining the workers Alberta needs, as well as supporting initiatives aimed at fully engaging Albertans in the workforce. As Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of targeted and executable marketing strategies and plans to help Alberta remain competitive in attracting and retaining Canadian and international workers, the implementation and optimization of online properties to maximize audience engagement and service levels, and the identification of emerging opportunities and implementation of innovative tools such as the Immigrate to Alberta web portal. You will lead cross-functional teams and will provide direction, support and guidance to Marketing Unit managers and supervisors in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans for the attraction and retention of priority skilled workers in Alberta, and promoting the participation and employment of under-represented groups in the workforce. You will also be accountable for providing strategic advice to senior officials on a range of international and domestic labour attraction topics to support issues management.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone that:

A Marketing or related degree with six (6) years related progressively responsible experience with responsibility for leading the development of large scale projects and cross-functional teams. Equivalencies will be considered.
$3,214.68 to $4,386.18 bi-weekly ($83,903 to $114,479 per annum)
