The Property Management Division is responsible for operating and maintaining government-owned properties and administering leased space at various locations throughout the province. We are currently hiring a Plumber to support several several facilities throughout Government Centre. You will be involved in general plumbing, gas equipment, steam systems, water distribution lines and sewer distribution line maintenance. You will also assist with the preventative maintenance program and provide installation/renovation of plumbing, pumps, distribution lines and mechanical systems.

Valid Alberta Journeyman Plumber Certificate, recognized by the Alberta Apprenticeship Industry Board, with directly related experience in the operation and maintenance of facilities is required. Gasfitter trade certification is a must. Knowledge of plumbing and gas related building codes/regulations is an asset. You must be physically able to perform heavy work, climb ladders and scaffolds, and work in confined areas.
$2,753.73 bi-weekly ($71,872 annually)
This competition may be used to fill future vacancies. Final candidates for this position will be required to undergo a security screening. This is a 40 hour work week position.
