Are you interested in working in a busy, client-service oriented office as a vital member of a team? This excellent opportunity is for an individual who is able to set priorities and meet deadlines while producing quality work in a team environment. Working in our Alberta Works Centre you will be the first point of contact for walk-ins or telephone inquiries. Your responsibilities will include providing information in response to general inquiries, including information on program eligibility criteria, and providing referrals to other agencies or organizations. Other duties will include filing, word processing, data entry, mail and other support as required.
As the ideal candidate you will exercise professionalism, initiative, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to working in a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
High School Diploma supplemented with Office Administration training plus recent
related experience. Preference may be given to candidates possessing an office
administration diploma. Experience in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, is
required, as well as experience with reception, data entry and filing.
$19.82 to $24.12 per hour
This competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same or lower classification level. This is a half time six month Wage position, with the possibility of extension. Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening.
