Join an excellent team and contribute to the effective functioning of our St. Paul office. Region 7 North Central Alberta Child and Family Services Authority are looking to fill the role of Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Administrative Team Lead, you will be responsible for the administrative support of essential Child Intervention programs that include, but are not limited to, Core Protection, Family Enhancement, Foster Care, Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and Adoptions. It is essential that you gain a thorough understanding of the programs you support and will be required to perform duties related to each program that could include computer entry, data processing, information entry in a timely manner, word processing of reports and letters as requested, financial processing and tracking, filing on a weekly basis, responding to client inquiries and other administrative support duties as required for the office, including reception duties. Experience working with Microsoft Office programs is essential as you will need to apply your skills in computer programs, accounting, and word processing, Communication and interpersonal skills will be required in your daily duties as will effective organization and time management.
High school diploma and one year related office experience. A post-secondary office administration certificate/diploma would be preferred.
$1,437.35 to $1,749.11 bi-weekly
The successful candidate will be required to provide an up-to-date Child Intervention Records check. A valid Alberta Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle will be required as some travel may be required.
