Join the team at Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD) for an exciting opportunity to enhance our digital media production! We are looking for a multi-media producer with strong digital media production and communication skills, customer service orientation, and creativity. You will have the opportunity to develop creative solutions with ARD staff that are on-brand and relevant for the diverse clientele of the Department.
In this position, you will use your sound knowledge of digital media production and creativity to help our technical specialists deliver information to their clients. You will take direct responsibility for ensuring high quality digital media including video and other interactive multi-media tools are produced to deliver predetermined messages to the target audience. This position provides advice to Department staff on digital media options suitable for the target audience and the communication objectives. As this position must manage multiple projects concurrently, you will use your strong project management skills to work with clients in developing and executing projects on time and within budget.
This position is responsible for ensuring the Government of Alberta and ARD image is upheld as products are visible to the world.
You will also be responsible for maintaining ARD's digital media stock library of video and still images.
As an expert in digital media production, you will be required to develop and deliver learning and development opportunities for Department staff. This will require you to be current in the latest communication technologies and determine their suitability for use by Department technical specialists.
Digital media related diploma or related field of study. Minimum 2 years' experience in media production such as video or interactive digital media products. Working knowledge of photography and videography including the use of acquisition equipment and professional editing software is required. Working knowledge of graphic design and composition including the use of professional graphic software is also required. Candidate must have project management experience.
$1,839.49 - $ 2,375.98 bi-weekly
Must possess a valid driver's license.
