Are you looking for an excellent opportunity to expand and develop your human resources skills? The Human Resources Services Branch has a challenging and rewarding opportunity available for a highly motivated, organized individual to join our fantastic group of human resource professionals.
You will provide support to the Human Resource (HR) Operations unit and Workforce Strategies (WFS) unit performing various HR and WFS administrative functions.
You will be responsible for:
- Posting job advertisements
- Booking interviews and entering data into IMAGIS to process job offers and close off competitions
- Creating and maintaining position data, preparing classification decision notifications
- Provide support to the learning and development programs and initiatives including employee orientation, performance management, leadership development, career development, and more.
- Create promotional brochures and materials for various HR programs
This is a fast paced time sensitive environment with strict deadlines. Your ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations with quick turnaround will play a key role. Your attention to detail and problem solving abilities will contribute to your success in meeting the challenges of this position. Your teamwork and organizational skills will be important in supporting both the HR unit as well as the WFS unit in the development and implementation of various programs and initiatives. Your excellent communication skills will be utilized as you will be the first point contact for external and internal clients and the general public
High School diploma plus a minimum of 2 years related experience. Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration, HR preferred. Experience working with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Experience working in an HR environment is an asset. Experience working with PeopleSoft application is desired.
1,582.24 -1,933.21 bi-weekly.
