Reporting to the General Manager of the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation, you will assist in the planning, development, delivery, evaluation and management of specifically Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation programs related to Sport Development. Management assignments primarily include policy and program development, event and program management, and the development and management of program budgets.
Using your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, you will provide management direction to a team of experienced staff. You will oversee consultation to provincial organizations, volunteers, and staff in the areas of governance, policy development, grants and financial reporting. Your strong management skills will assist you in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders. In addition, you will be required to act with initiative and have the ability to work collaboratively with the Foundation Management Team and the program stakeholders of the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation.

University degree (Masters preferred) in Physical Education or Recreation/Sport Administration or related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible related experience is required. Government experience is preferred. You will be required to have experience working with the issues/policies and procedures related to program development and delivery, as well as experience in working with volunteer organizations. Experience working with volunteer boards and committees would be an asset. Business writing, presentation and program management experience is essential. Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$3,214.68 - $4,386.18 bi-weekly ($83,903 - $114,479 annually)
