The International Provincial Assessment Services has 3 unique evening opportunities (Monday -Friday, 5:00 p.m. to Midnight) for individuals with strong language skills in Hindi and Korean. As a Qualifications Assessor you will use your Hindi and Koran language skills in reviewing applications for completeness, assessing international work experience and verifying international credentials. This involves researching and contacting companies and overseas organizations to determine if the experience complies with the requirements outlined in Alberta's legislation. As an assessor you will also assist in preparing communications for applicants regarding work experience and if further information is required.

-Systems thinking: you understand how the work you do impacts the work of others and how the service and activities the IPAS branch does helps support Alberta's apprenticeship program.
-Develop Networks: you are able to quickly identify key stakeholders, understanding their value and gain credibility while building relationships. You effectively following through on inquiries, requests and concerns from colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
-Drive for Results: Focused on outcomes, you set goals and prioritize work to accomplish them. Following through on duties and tasks and report progress.

High School diploma with 4 years of related experience. Fluency in English as well as Hindi or Korean is required given that the position requires the review and verification of foreign documents. Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$25.77 to $31.69 per hour
This position is a 6-9 month wage opportunity. The successful applicant will be eligible for shift differential. Please submit a cover letter indicating your experience/knowledge of business practices in India or Korea and which language (Korean or Hindi) you possess.
