We are looking for an organized and client-focused individual to provide administrative support to the office. If you aspire to expand your administrative professional background to include an understanding of Alberta Works programs, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
You will be responsible for providing excellent client service to Albertans and Employers by providing technical, administrative and informational services to those using our Alberta Works office.
Working within existing guidelines, processes and legislation, the incumbent will provide administrative assistance and support to a busy employment focused delivery site within the Human Services Ministry.
The incumbent is responsible for all clerical functions including information technology user support and resolution; reception duties; records management, Income Support application processing (appointment bookings, system file downloads etc.) and accounts payable.

A high school diploma and one year of directly related administrative experience. An Administrative Diploma or Certificate along with experience in accounts payable and information management would be considered an asset.
Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,437.35 - $1,749.11 Bi-weekly ($37,514 - $45,651 annually)
This position may be eligible for 55th to 57th Parallel retention bonus.
Please note: This is a temporary position to March 31, 2014 with the possibility of extension.
Selected individuals may be asked to undergo a security screening.
This competition may be used to fill other vacancies at the same classification level in Grande Prairie.
