We are looking for two administrative professionals who are detail oriented, enthusiastic and work well in a busy environment to be part of our administrative team. We want to meet with individuals who have a passion for administrative work and are looking to start or continue their administrative career working with the Government of Alberta. Under the direction of the Regional Administrator, you will provide administrative support services to either the Infrastructure or the Property Section. Your areas of expertise required for this position are general administration standard operating procedures, financial accounting duties, contract/service agreement administration, human resource administration, report generation, customer service, and records management.
As an administrative professional, your effective interpersonal skills and your solutions-focused initiative will support your success when determining priorities and when working collaboratively with the North Central Regional staff to ensure effective and efficient administrative operational processes. Your excellent computer and keyboarding skills will assist you in processing documents, retrieving computerized reports and making vendor/personnel inquiries.
High school diploma plus 2 years of related office administrative experience is required. Equivalencies considered. Experience creating and working with word processing, spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Office Suite is required. Supplementary business related courses in office procedures, customer service, records management, finance and human resources is an asset. Prior experience working with IMAGIS (peoplesoft), Action Request Tracking System (ARTS) is an asset.
Related experience in land property management/acquisition asset for the Property Administrative Assistant position. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,582.24 to $ 1933.21 bi-weekly. ($41,296.46 to $50,456.78 annually).
Candidates with lesser experience may be considered at a lower classification and salary level. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies within the Government of Alberta.
