Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic and exciting work environment? If so, this administrative support position in Alberta Health?s Health Information and Technology Services Division is the job for you!
As a motivated and well organized Unit Coordinator, you assist with the effective and efficient operation of the Information Management branch. You are responsible for providing support to the Directors, Managers and numerous professional and contract staff by handling day-to-day administrative matters within the Branch, co-ordination of briefing materials to support decision making, action requests, review and delegation of incoming correspondence, and management of a variety of administrative projects.
You possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and are able to exercise sound judgment and personal initiative in a fast paced working environment.
High School Diploma, plus a minimum of 2 years of related Administrative Assistant experience. Experience supporting multiple positions in an administrative capacity including minute taking, calendar management and records management is required. Proven experience in the Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word and Excel is a must. Experience working the Integrated Records Information Management (iRIMS) system, the Action Request Tracking Systems (ARTS) and SharePoint would be considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,582.24 to $1,933.21 bi-weekly ($41,296 to $50,456 annually)
This is a one year temporary position. This competition may be used to fill a number of current and future vacancies in various ministries throughout the Government of Alberta.
