two part time
Field Office Administrators to provide information services at the Leduc Field Office, part of Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development's Ag-Info Centre Branch.
Reporting to the Manager, Field Offices, you will provide administrative and reception services as the Field Office Administrator: accept client applications for a multitude of agricultural programs, greet clients and answer inquiries, and direct clients to appropriate resources. Duties may also include processing program applications, providing administrative support to department specialists including photocopying, word processing, database management, proof reading, editing, and preparing documents and PowerPoint presentations. The performance of general office administration duties will be required.
In this challenging and diverse role you will work independently to manage your workload to support the Leduc Field Office and to meet Branch goals and objectives. A positive attitude is critical as you encounter new and unique challenges and learning situations. To be successful, your ability to be flexible, prioritize and organize with a strong attention to detail is essential. You will use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist the public and to interact with all members of the organization. You will have complete access to assistance and guidance by the Manager, Field Offices.
Completion of a High School Diploma and two years of directly related administrative experience is required for the role. Experience with oral and written communication activities, such as communication composition, editing and formatting is required. As well, demonstrated experience in frontline customer service and with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint is required. Experience in the Agriculture Industry would be considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.
$791.12 to $966.61 bi-weekly ($20,648 to $25,228 annually) Part-Time at 50%.
