We are seeking a communications professional to provide expertise and strategic direction on the communication plan for the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC). Reporting to the Director, Knowledge Management you will be responsible for providing corporate communications, external media relations, issues identification management and other communication services. Primary responsibilities include planning, coordinating, writing and editing of material and researching issues through a variety of sources. You will develop and deliver web and social media strategies, communications consulting and project management. You are able to develop effective linkages with internal and external stakeholders to maintain awareness of and provide advice on access and privacy issues.
A related university degree plus considerable related experience including communications planning, preparation of publications and other materials, media relations, issues and project management. Knowledge of access and privacy legislation would be an asset. Equivalencies may be considered.
$2,936.39 - $3,951.53 bi weekly ($76, 639 - $103,134 annually)
