The Regional Director invites you to join the North Central Region as a lead team member of the group responsible for the development, establishment, budgeting, administration and implementation of the region's bridge programs. As the Bridge Manager, you will lead a dynamic group of engineers, technologist, and administrative individuals involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the bridge structures on provincial highways and roads.
This will be an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to build effective working relationships through your ability to negotiate and facilitate collaborative and innovative problem solving among a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. As a proven leader, your excellent interpersonal, project management, contract administration and decision-making skills will be the foundation to success in this senior leadership position.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are essential.
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with 7 years of related experience in highway bridge construction and/or maintenance is required. Prior supervisory experience is an asset. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation from a recognized Provincial or Territorial Professional Engineering Association is required. Please include your registration # from the association. Equivalencies will be considered.
$3,871.67 - $4,916.45 biweekly ($101,050 to $128,319 annually)

Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening.
Travel is required in this position so candidates must possess a valid driver's license. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies.
