Reporting to the Team Lead, this position is responsible for coordinating the provisioning of telecommunication products and services to GoA client ministries. In this role, you will consult with clients and respond to queries; troubleshoot issues; issue and coordinate add/move/change/delete requests; and maintain and update inventories. Utilizing your strong interpersonal and multitasking skills you will develop, foster and maintain strong working relationships with your client worksite contacts to understand their telecommunications needs, offer solutions and manage requests through established vendors.
Your duties may include work on capital projects, small tenant improvement projects, system refresh/upgrades/ conversions, ad hoc requests driven by client staffing activity, or by technology driven requirements for end users. As an integral part of the Telecom Team you will support your team to deliver a full slate of telecommunication services to GoA ministries, who rely on the expertise of this unit to deliver coordinated services as part of their communication and operating requirements.
High School diploma and four years' experience working in a service oriented, office environment related to telecommunications or a similar field. Experience with Centrex Services, Private Branch Exchange (PBS) and Key Systems, or similar products, is considered an asset. Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,868.66 - $2,297.57 bi-weekly ($48,772 - $59,966 annually)
Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower classification and salary. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies.
