Environment and Sustainable Resource Development

Reporting to the Area Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for the warehouse floor operations of the Whitecourt Wildfire Management Area warehouse. As the successful applicant, your responsibilities will include;
- Receive and process incoming inventory efficiently and accurately
- Ship Inventory in a timely and efficient manner
- Procurement for the warehouse
- Proper storing of inventory at all times including storage location and space requirements
- Maintenance of facilities that includes ensuring tools, racking and shelving is maintained
- Managing inventory including physical counts, reconciling and surplus
Experience with inventory management systems will assist you in basic data entry. This position also involves to a large extent, physical activity in the daily operations. As the successful candidate, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
High school diploma and two years of related experience. Experience in warehousing and materials management including computerized inventory management systems is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,667.83 - $2,038.40 bi-weekly ($43,530 - $53,202 annually)
Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower classification and salary. This job opening may be used to fill future vacancies.
