The St. Paul office of Region 10 Metis Settlements Child & Family Services Authority (CFSA) is seeking an administrative professional to join our team and share our commitment to build on the strengths of communities to support the development of safe, healthy and nurturing environments for children and families.
Supervising a team of administrative professionals, you will provide support to the professional staff and programs delivered throughout the Northeast Region. You will apply your coordination and administrative skills in handling a variety of duties such as budgeting, financial administration and human resource administration. You will also be responsible for records management, purchasing, inventory control, coordinating telecommunications requests and accommodations and security. Your strong communication and judgment skills will be evident in liaising with multiple contacts. Your strong computer skills, well-developed organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision will serve you well in this role.
As the successful candidate you will have good working knowledge of Regional and Ministry administrative and financial policies and guidelines. Applicants must be able to work independently, multi-task, exercise sound judgment and ensure the accuracy of all work. You have the ability to handle diverse situations and be solution-focused. You are courteous and client focused, possess excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

High school diploma and three years of related experience consisting of supervision and budget forecasting is required. Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook are required. Experience with applying the Master Agreement, as well as human resource policies and procedures are considered an asset. Direct experience in a Child & Family Services Authority environment would be preferred. Experience with accounts payable, records management, CYIM and PeopleSoft are also preferred.
$1,724.26 to $2,111.09 Bi-weekly
This is a temporary position expected to expire on or before May 31, 2014 with the possibility of extension. Final candidates may be required to undergo a security screening. This competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same or lower classification.
