Are you a highly motivated and organized individual seeking an opportunity to use your administrative support experience? We are looking for someone with a sound working knowledge in the areas of finance and administration. You will provide support to the Finance unit, the region and the worksites within Region 8 and Employment and Financial Supports (EFS) delivery. Your financial responsibilities will include accounts payable, data entry, and monitoring and maintenance of payment systems. You will be responding to inquiries from the public, vendors and staff. In the area of administration, you will be responsible for OH&S activities, provide assistance to the EFS regional trainer, payroll, and vehicle maintenance. You will also be the primary site contact for video conference scheduler activities and trouble shoot.
Grade 12 education supplemented by two years related experience and knowledge of accounting principles, OH&S and payroll. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required. Knowledge of Alberta Government Integrated Management Information System (IMAGIS), ExClaim and Contract Management Administration System (CMAS) is an asset. Equivalencies may be considered.
$1,582.24 - $1,933.21 Bi-weekly
The successful candidate will require a valid Alberta Driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo an Intervention Services Record Check and provide a suitable security screening.
