International and Intergovernmental Relations
International and Intergovernmental Relations coordinates Alberta's relationships with various levels of government in Canada and around the world; and on behalf of Albertans, enhances Alberta's national and international presence in areas such as export development, investment attraction and government to government relations.
The International Policy & Strategic Services Division is looking for a highly motivated individual with the right combination of skills and experience to work in a fast paced environment. As the successful candidate in this position, you will be responsible for providing lead administrative support for the Executive Director and the office while ensuring productivity and efficient office procedures. You will be responsible for managing flow and timeliness of all information requests received from internal and external stakeholders, review correspondence, and maintain the action request process as well as performing and prioritizing various other administrative duties.
You will possess a strong working knowledge of general office practices including proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, IMAGIS, ARTS, and Exclaim. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, creative problem solving abilities and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
A High School diploma plus a minimum of 3 years of office administration experience is required. Computer proficiency is essential including competency with Microsoft Office (MSWord, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience with ARTS, Exclaim and (IMAGIS) is preferred. Certificate or diploma in office administration is an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.
$1,724.26 - $2,111.09 bi-weekly
