The Assistant Deputy Minister's Office of Learning Supports and Information Management has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with strong writing, editing and analytical skills; the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of clients to provide effective consulting and writing services, and the ability to coordinate a variety of writing projects with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing or editing action request responses, ministerial correspondence and briefing notes and other communications products. This position requires knowledge of Ministry business plan goals, strategic priorities, issues, programs, and resources, including understanding of the provincial education system (ECS to Grade 12). Familiarity and demonstrated competence with software tools (e.g. the Microsoft Office suite of programs) is essential.
A university degree and a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible related experience in communication or government is required. Equivalencies will be considered.
$2,420.93 to $3,175.47 bi-weekly ($63,186 to $82,879 annually)
